Our Favourite Smoothie Recipes Using Protein Powder

One of our favourite things to make in the summertime is smoothies. They’re the perfect breakfast or snack to have on a warm day which you can pack full of nutritious and delicious ingredients. We personally love adding in protein powder to our smoothies to increase our protein intake for the day. Plus, it also gives your smoothies a creamy consistency which reminds us of a milkshake. What’s not to love about that!

Here are our favourite recipes using the Keep It Cleaner Protein Powders.

Vanilla:

Gingerbread Smoothie 

Ingredients: 
220ml Almond Milk 
tsp Ginger powder
1tsp Nutmeg
20g Almond Butter
1 x Banana
20ml Greek Yogurt
30g Vanilla protein power. 

Method:
Step 1. Place all the ingredients, plus a handful of ice, into your blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Serves: 1

Espresso: 

Thick and Creamy Mocha Smoothie

Ingredients: 
30ml Espresso
200ml Milk of choice
1/4 x Avocado
2tsp Cacao powder
1tsp Honey
200g Frozen Banana
30g Espresso Protein Power

Method:
Step 1. Place all the ingredients, plus a handful of ice, into your blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Serves: 1

Chocolate:

Peanut Butter Smoothie 

Ingredients:
250ml Milk of choice
1tbs Peanut Butter
200g Frozen Banana
30g Espresso Protein Power
1tbs Unsweetened natural yogurt

Method:
Step 1. Place all the ingredients, plus a handful of ice, into your blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Serves: 1

Berry:

Raspberry And Cacao Smoothie

Ingredients:
250ml Milk of choice
1/2 Frozen Banana
120g Fresh or Frozen Raspberries
30g Berry Protein Power
2tsp Cacao powder
2tbs Rolled oats

Method:
Step 1. Place all the ingredients, plus a handful of ice, into your blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Serves: 1

Salted Caramel:

Caramel Chai Smoothie

Ingredients:
250ml Milk of choice
1x Medjool date
1/2 x Frozen Banana
1tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tbs Almond Butter
30g Salted Caramel Protein Powder

Method:
Step 1. Place all the ingredients, plus a handful of ice, into your blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
