4 Sweet Recipes Under 4 Ingredients

These are our top 4 favourite recipes with only 4 ingredients or less, YEP, that’s right, only 4 or less!  This is perfect for anyone who is time-poor or wants something quick and easy to whip up for dessert.

Frozen Choc Nut Banana Bites – 4 servings

Ingredients:

2x Banana

100g Dark Chocolate

5ml Coconut oil

40g Roasted Almonds

Method:

Step 1: Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a small pot. YUMMM! Next, chop up the bananas into bite-sized pieces and finely dice nuts.

Step 2: Line a plate with baking paper. Dunk banana pieces into melted chocolate and place one by one on the plate.

Step 3: Sprinkle almond pieces on top and put in the freezer to set. Leave to chill for two hours, serve and enjoy!

Chocolate Popcorn – 1 serving

Ingredients:

2Tbs Popcorn kernels

1/2Tbs Coconut oil

20g Dark Chocolate

Method:

Step 1: Melt the coconut oil. Place ½ tsp coconut oil with ¼ cup of corn kernels in a bowl and cover kernels evenly with oil. Pour kernels inside a paper bag. Fold the top of the bag over twice to prevent the kernels from coming out while popping.

Step 2: Place bag in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Finely chop up dark chocolate and sprinkle over the warm popcorn in a serving bowl and stir through. Add salt to taste.

Frozen Date Bites filled with Peanut Butter – 12 servings

Ingredients:

12 x Medjool Dates

6tbs Peanut Butter

Method:

Step 1: Start by slicing the date long ways until your knife hits the pip. Remove the pip and set dates aside.

Step 2: Where the pip was, we now want the Peanut Butter! So hold the date open and fill the inside with the Peanut Butter, should be 1/2 tbs or less!

Step 3: Stack your dates up and place them in a container and store them in the freezer. Give them at least an hour or so before serving.

Banana Pancakes

1 x Banana

2 x Eggs

20 g Rolled oats

1tbs Coconut oil

Method:

Step 1: Add banana, eggs, and oats to a blender and blend on high until combined.

Step 2: Add 1 sb of coconut oil to a non-stick pan and turn on medium heat. Once warm, pour in pancake mix (About 2 tbs at a time)

Step 3: Cook for 30-60 seconds on each side or until bubbles form all over the pancake

Step 4: Serve with banana or berries and greek yogurt (or whatever healthy toppings you like)
